據Automotive News 2008年年度調查顯示，按銷售量排名的北美市場前25大供貨商中，外國公司占了12家。這和二十年前美國公司統治北美市場時25強中的20家都是美國公司形成鮮明的對比。年度排名第一的是加拿大公司Magna International Inc.。Delphi雖然出售資產銷售下降4.23億，但排名第二。其次是Johnson Controls, Lear, TRW Automotive, Robert Bosch, Continental, Dana Holding, ThyssenKrupp, Denso Intl., ArvinMeritor, Aisin World, Cummins, Faurecia, Yazaki N.A., Benteler Automotive, IAC Group, Toyota Boshoku, Visteon 與Flex-N-Gate. 25大供貨商中19家銷售都較去年有所下降，但其中兩家外國公司是由于銷售的大幅度提高擠進25強的。他們是日本的Toyota Boshoku America Corp.和德國的Benteler Automotive Corp.。 |
