The High Pressure Core Barrel was Forged in China Erzhong

At the beginning of August, 2010, China Erzhong has forged successfully the ultra-high pressure core barrel, the key part for the heaviest cold isostatic press in the world. The barrel has the machining length of 7025mm, external diameter 2690mm and thickness 290mm.
It has high technical requirement and difficult operation. Successful manufacture of barrel is an important breakthrough in R & D of ultra-long core barrel for Erzhong and has great significance to expand the domestic market of ultra-long core barrel.
