According to the statistics run by government bureau, till to the end of 2006, the private vehicles in China are 29.25 million units.

 

The amount of civil vehicle has been 49.85 million units (including three wheel vehicles and low speed truck which are 13.99 million units) in which the amount of the civil cars is 15.45 million units.  For now, there are 11.49 million private cars in China.
