In September 2010, the 600MW supercritical HV/MV rotor was manufactured successfully in China National Erzhong Group Co. The rotor is the key part of supercritical thermal power generating unit. The temperature of work and steam pressure is higher than Subcritical and general generating unit. At present, the kind of larger-size forging heavily depends on import. It has become a difficulty of heavy equipment manufacturing industry. Successful manufacture of rotor marks that Erzhong possesses ability of providing supercritical and ultra-supercritical forgings.
